About Our Blog Title

The Elephant's Child is a story by Rudyard Kipling. It follows the adventures of a curious little elephant who wants to know what the crocodile eats for dinner, and is told to go to the banks of the Limpopo River to find out. The elephant puts his face very close to the waters to ask the crocodile what he eats, and the crocodile lunges for his small, boot-sized nose. The crocodile pulls and pulls until the elephant has a trunk! And this is how the trunk of an elephant came to be.
