Medical and Dental Forms... SENT
OUR MEDICAL FORMS ARE FINALLY IN!!! Almost 3 months later and countless dr. and dentist visits and a trip to an oral surgeon (not too mention a pretty penny too), our forms are completed and turned in. We were diligent about making sure nothing was forgotten and all I’s and T’s were crossed (fun fact: PC says only 15% of applicants turn in completed medical forms the first time. We are positive we’re in that percentage based on our mad organization skilzzz). We are only worried about the following. 1. My kidney stone from 12 years ago will come back to haunt us. I filled out a personal statement about why it’s not an issue which the Dr. signed so we should be ok. 2. Chris’ blood pressure was a little high, but when talking to our PC medical liaison, he said his reading was fine so again, we should be ok. 3. My dentist noted I had stage 1 gingivitis (oh, my lovely teeth causing trouble again) but said no treatment was needed. When looking up online, it said treatment is cleaning so again I say, we should be ok. All should not cause trouble, but we’d feel better turning in a totally clear medical and dental packet. We hope to see in our PC toolkit that they are reviewing our medical packet within the next 6 weeks. Then, it’s follow up time Now, we just have to sit back and wait to see what’s next. Hopefully that is getting medically cleared with no issues, then hearing from a PO (placement officer) for final evaluation and placement. Then, an official invitation!
